Repeat prescriptions can be requested in writing, by telephone, or calling in at the surgery in person.
Please allow 48 hours notice.
We are happy to mail prescriptions to you provided a stamped address envelope is included.
Please note we do not offer a fax service for sending repeat prescriptions. If you cannot come when we are open you are free to arrange a collection service through a pharmacy of your choice.
Patient Online Services Access
Sign up to EMIS Online to make appointments, order prescriptions or view you medical records online. Ask at reception.
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)
If you get regular prescriptions the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) may be able to save you time by saving you unnecessary trips to your GP.
EPS makes it possible for your prescriptions to be sent electronically to the pharmacy or dispenser of your choice.
Ask at reception for details.
IMPORTANT UPDATE TO EPS
We are upgrading to the next phase of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) which will mean that almost all our prescriptions will be processed electronically from September 7th 2020.
Electronic prescriptions help save the NHS money.
You will receive your prescriptions in the same way as you do now.
Read more about EPS on the NHS website.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
